23rd June 2018
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
We are delighted to let you know that Malin and Richard Nairn have invited us to celebrate midsummer in their garden at Niddry Castle, Winchburgh again. Saturday 23 June from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
We will start with a picnic/bbq followed by dancing around the midsummer pole and a guided tour around the castle.
There will be barbecues available, but please bring your own picnic and things to barbecue. Please also bring greenery and flowers to decorate the midsummer pole if you can.
We hope to see you there for what is always a most enjoyable occasion.
Venue: Niddry Castle
Niddry Castle is a fourteenth-century tower house near Winchburgh, West Lothian, Scotland. It is situated near the Union Canal, and between two large oil shale “bings”, or waste heaps. Historically it was known as Niddry Seton or West Niddry to distinguish it from Niddry Marischal in Midlothian and Longniddry in East Lothian.
